This blog includes updates from the research and projects of Ian Bullock, a Yale University PhD student working in Aaron Dollar’s GRAB Lab.

Ian earned a B.S. in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College (Claremont, CA) in 2010, and a M.S. and M.Phil. in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University in 2013. His work experience has ranged from programming educational neuroscience modules to designing a circuit for a particle accelerator in Japan. His research interests include human dexterity and robotic manipulation, with particular emphasis on understanding the capabilities of the human hand to improve the design of robotic and prosthetic manipulators. His other interests include effective user interface design, music, and graphic design.
